Inspiration can come from anywhere. My pashmina shawl was the inspiration for the design of ARRIGO—an engineered yarn-dyed fashion bed for Welspun, Fall 2017 Market Week.

I believe creativity and passion are the cornerstones of good design and that beautiful and salable design can co-exist. I am highly motivated and passionate about the product I develop for my clients. With a combination of creativity and strong business acumen, I am wholly committed to creating successful designs.

With over 30+ years of experience—19 years specializing in home textiles—I launched my own design consulting company. I have worked for Macy’s Inc., a Fortune 500 company and premier manufacturers both nationally and internationally.

I place great importance on understanding and interpreting the clients needs and believe this is critical to good design. The starting point for each design project begins by creating a vision for trend, color, and pattern; this process strengthens the development of collections that resonate with the customer.

I draw on my love of color, art, fashion, textiles, architecture, and nature, as well as my extensive experience, to carefully curate my designs.  Every project from the smallest decorative pillow to the most complex engineered weave is managed and developed to the highest standards. Moreover, during my career I have enjoyed being a mentor to young designers and encouraging them to develop their own design language and skills.
